Our 10th Birthday

We just want to say a huge thank you to all who have supported us over the past 10 years. Like everyone in business, navigating new territory with the ever-changing face of the world, we’ve experienced highs and lows but yesterday was all about celebrating this milestone with good friends who have been with us right from the start to those who have joined us on our journey more recently. There were seriously only good vibes all round.

We were excited to also launch our Aphrodite range consisting of the traditional soap round, mineral bath salts and bath/body oil. I cannot begin to tell you how delicious it is but I will endeavour in a future post dedicated solely to this range, designed to embrace the inner goddess in us all, when it becomes available online. Soon, very very soon I promise.

Right from the beginning, L’essence has been about indulging the senses and we certainly continued that theme yesterday as we not only sampled the new range, but also enjoyed savoury and sweet treats to satisfy our hunger, and pink bubbles and a fruit tea elixir (by our friends from Tranquil Tea) to quench our thirst, under dappled light from the trees above us and surrounded by beautiful blooms (brought to you by Elderflower Farm and arranged by Jorja Rotar, florist extraordinaire).

As I blew out the candles with my mama and daughter by my side, two women who have helped me immensely these past years (and gosh hope they are prepared for a few more wink wink) I commented on, “Here’s to another 10 years,” as we only continue to receive your love for our offering. I’m not going to make any guesses to how that may look because if this year has taught me anything, things don’t always work out as you plan and I’m just keeping open to all the possibilities life has to bring us.
